Rapier List

10:00-11:00 Round Robin/Single Elimination Tourney
If there are fewer than a dozen combatants, this will be a round robin to seed a single elimination tourney – for example, the person with the most kills will fight the person with the second most kills in the elimination round, and so on. If there are more than a dozen combatants, they will be split into two Round Robin pools. The winner of each pool will then fight each other, the next in each pool will fight each other, etc.

11:00-12:00: Challenge Tourney
Combatants may challenge any other combatant to a one-and-done bout. Winners receive two points, losers receive one. Non-scarves challenging a Bronze Ring or Master of Defence will receive three points for a win, and one for a loss. Report points to list master/mistress.

12:00-1:00: Lunch Break

1:00-2:00: Melee Freeze Tag
Combatants will be divided into two melee teams. A person is “frozen” when they receive a killing blow. A teammate may “unfreeze” them by placing an empty hand on them for a loud count of three. The first team to succeed in freezing all members of the opposing team wins the round. To be played at least three rounds, or more as desired by combatants.

2:00-3:00: Zombie Tourney
“Every man for himself” style melee. When a combatant is killed initially, they leave the field, and return as a Zombie. Zombies use single sword only, and must move at a zombie pace (excluding the sword arm). They can only be killed with headshots. When Zombies are killed, they rez as Zombies. The winner of the tourney is the last one to resist the plague before being overwhelmed by the Zombie Apocalypse.
